In 1992, Eng. Joaquin Cardoso, Dr. Santiago Juranovic and Lic. Raul Stolarza created the Company, formerly named DataSeis and presently well known as DataSeismic.

In a rented Processing Center, they started with the first steps.

That same year, different characters, who trusted the project, began to participate creating the basis of it. Mr. Carlos Imbert, a Sales Representative from IBM, made possible the financing of the first Server and Processing Software acquired by DataSeismic.

Starting in 1993, DataSeismic was able to have his own Processing Center. At that time, Mr. Marcelo Zabala and Mr. Gabriel Abdala joined this project. Later on, Mr. Jorge Casella and Mr. Alcides Carcacci added themselves too to the staff.

In the following years, some of them decided to face different challenges and leaved the team. Those who remained, created the actual Company under the name DataSeismic Geophysical Services.

That Company, with a temporarily reduced staff, but showing immeasurable level of quality and compromise, started to growth in a difficult, well known and competitive market.

Today, with more than 16 years of permanence and 6 of an extraordinary growth, DataSeismic Geophysical Services counts with professionals specialized in Geophysics, Geology, Reservoir Engineering, etc. They have the capability to face all kind of 2D/3D Seismic Data Processing, Reservoir Geophysics and Seismic Data Acquisition Design & QC projects.

The Company also offers National and International Scholarships and Internal and External Training, in order to keep our staff updated with the last achievements. Our goal is to have our professionals always ready for future challenges, with confidence in their knowledge and judgment and with the highest levels of professionalism.

In 2008, DataSeismic Geophysical Services opened his first branch in Houston, TX, world-wide Oil & Gas Industry capital.
